Swedetown Trails

The Swedetown Trail system is spread out over 1900 acres and features 35K of groomed ski trails, 25 miles of single track mountain bike trails, and snowshoe trails with lookouts and creek-side exploring. This trail system is yours to explore and is only a 5 minute walk (1 minute drive) away from Copper Country Cottages. The Swedetown trail networking is perfect for cross country skiing, mountain biking, sledding, hiking, snowshoeing, fat biking, and more.

Snowmobile, ATV, and Side by Side Trails

Copper Country Cottages sits right next the ORV/Snowmobile trail that runs south to Houghton and north to Copper Harbor. Our guests are able to park their trucks/trailers at our cottages and easily hop on the trail for a full-day of riding. Our cottages are ideal for couples, families, and groups of riders.
